Hanako will give a talk at the kinetoplastid meeting next week. She will talk about the kinetochore-microtubule interface in T. brucei and show some electron tomography data on freeze/substituted cells.
I wish I could attend the meeting, but it is nice to find multiple abstracts that have the word “kinetochore”. It looks like the kinetoplastid kinetochore field is growing slowly but steadily.
